April Winners
At the April Quiz, the Latecomers were the winning team, answering questions on subjects such as, Colours, the NATO phonetic alphabet and All Creatures Great and Small. Well done to Linda, Margaret, Nancy, Jean and Joe.
March Winners
The winning team at the March Quiz was the “Four Degrees” answering questions on subjects including Phobias, Film and Television, Mythical Creatures and the 1960’s. Well done to Chrissie, Judith, Fran and Elainne.
February Winners
The February Quiz was won by The Aces, answering questions on subjects such as Fruit and Veg, Awesome Animals and Song Lyrics. Well done to Chrissie, Margaret M, Margaret H and Bill.
The Quiz Group takes the form of a light-hearted monthly general knowledge quiz. The participants form teams of 3,4 or 5 (depending on how many are present that month) and proceed to try and answer the questions with a lot of head-scratching and dark mutterings!
100 questions, 8 rounds of 10 questions on various subjects, 20 general knowledge at the end. Plus a picture quiz.
There are no prizes for the winning team, just the satisfaction of knowing that they are this month’s brainboxes and a photo in the monthly newsletter.
